CCHC "email" Chatter-- August 2007
Hello CCHC Families!
We are sending you this because you are, or have been, a member of Columbia Christian Homeschool Co-op. If you would like to be removed from our mailing list, please reply with the message “remove” and we will delete your email from our database. If you think this newsletter would be useful to your friends, please feel free to forward it in its entirety.
We hope you are having a great summer. Although there are still several weeks of summer left to enjoy, now that August is here many of us turn our thoughts back toward fall schedules and Co-op. Don’t forget that on Wednesday, September 12 we will have our “Not Back-to-School” family meeting, orientation, and CCHC kick-off party with a free BBQ lunch and root beer floats. Don’t miss it! The meeting is required for all families who will participate in CCHC this year. Our fall session will run September 19-November 14, winter session is January 9-March 5, and spring session is March 26-May 21.**
**Note date change! We will be starting January 9 rather than January 2 as previously announced, so that will push all 2008 dates back one week.
Please check and make sure you filled out all paperwork and paid all fees during registration. We have a few families who have turned in money but no forms, or forms but no money. Perhaps you plan to return but have not yet registered. (Um, we have a couple teachers in this category!) If you’re not sure where you stand, please call or email Michele Townliand, registrar, at 667-9754 or michelet@nwi.net. Remember, if you have not paid you may be bumped from a class. Also, teachers may not order materials for your students if they have not received materials fees. If you haven’t paid your children’s teachers, please mail them a check as soon as possible. Teacher phone numbers are listed in the class descriptions on our website. www.ncwhn.net/CCHC.htm .

It will also be posted on the website.
We hope to send out one newsletter each month during the summer, so we won’t pester you too often. If you have items that should be shared with our community, please email them to michelet@nwi.net. Take a look at all the opportunities available around Wenatchee this summer. Learning doesn’t end when the school year is over—summer is a great time to try something new and different!
Please check and make sure you filled out all paperwork and paid all fees during registration. We have a few families who have turned in money but no forms, or forms but no money. Perhaps you plan to return but have not yet registered. Remember, if you have not paid you may be bumped from a class. Classes that are full or nearly full include Careers, Latin I, and Spanish II. Don’t miss out! If you haven’t paid your children’s teachers, please mail them a check this month. It really helps teachers plan when they know how many students they will have. Having the materials fees ahead of time allows them to buy materials and get ready before co-op starts. Thank you for understanding and blessing our teachers in this way.
Registration information and forms are available on the CCHC website, www.ncwhn.net/CCHC.htm . Please use this resource to print forms and tell your friends to check it out. It is a great way for new families to learn what CCHC has to offer.
